RUTHANN is pleased to present Requited Configurations, a twelve-person exhibition of sculptural works by Natalie Beall, Charlotte
Beckett, Damien Davis, Mark Dion, Shanti Grumbine, Nicholas Hamilton, Peter Hoffmeister, Jessi Li, David Lukowski, Scott Penkava, Monika Zarzeczna and Steph Zimmerman.This exhibition offers sculpture in a variety of forms and combinations. Feelings are not always reciprocated in life, but sculptures
generously requite us with their vibrations of energy, mass, volume and surface. When experienced in person they can create awe,
appreciation and a subjective sense of physicality, leading us to something curious or unforeseen within ourselves.
The artists in this exhibition work with three-dimensional forms in varying and unexpected arrangements, presenting us with visual
systems to navigate along with their interconnected loopholes. The artists in Requited Configurations lovingly fabricate, collect,
build and assemble their objects and visual worlds, celebrating the possibilities and delights of new combinations.
